How Long To Spend in the Gym

Do people really need to spend so much time in the gym? Sometimes people can be there for 3 hours working away. But it might be that they could work out their body just as well in half the time if they are clever about it. Certain types of exercises can work many more muscles in your body than others. These types of exercises are called compound. A typical example of this is pressups because you are exercising your chest, shoulders, arms and even your lower body. However a bicep curl just exercises the biceps and not really any thing else.

There is then the problem of some people not spending enough time in the gym because they find it boring. If you find that this is the case then you need to consider some music you can take along with you. I found this website that provides you with workout songs.
